Ways to Give
In addition to our Student Sponsorships and Humanitarian Volunteer Weeks, we have a continual need for “other” funds or contributions to ensure the success of the project. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
When participants attend volunteer weeks they often bring supplies and materials most needed at the time.
There is a constant need for general funds that can be used to support the infrastructure and specialized program needs. General Funds are directed towards any need that supports the program mission, objectives and purpose.
Individuals and organizations who would prefer not to donate to a specific aspect, can indicate their contributions for General Funds.
LEAVE A BEQUEST
You live your life generously and show your concern for others in numerous ways. That Legacy of caring could cross borders and influence generations. Please consider Project Amigo in your estate planning; whether through a living trust, as beneficiary in a life insurance policy, or in many other ways. Please speak with your financial advisor and let us extend your influence for many years to come.
DONATIONS FOR LAPTOPS AND TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT
Raise funds to provide laptop computers and associated accessories.
Various programs of Project Amigo are constantly in need of up-to-date computers and software programs. Every Project Amigo Student who continues in the program and is required to have a laptop computer is provided with one. Additionally, Project Amigo manages several supervised and open to the public, “cyber centers”, each equipped with several computers, a printer and internet service. Your donation helps to sustain these ongoing program needs.
DONATIONS FOR BOOKS AND LIBRARY RESOURCES
Raise funds to provide books and education materials.
Your contribution makes it possible for us to continually renew our stock of new, high quality Spanish Language Books. These books are published in Mexico and shipped directly to Project Amigo. Books are regularly delivered to deserving rural schools during our Literacy Volunteer Weeks.
